Gundogs at Glen Orchy

We have just returned from our Christmas holiday at The Old House in Glen Orchy, which was spacious and comfortable, so it was a perfect place to stay for us and four lucky gundogs.
There was direct access onto the mountains and good access along the banks of the river Orchy, so I was able to do quite a bit of training with the dogs, pushing on with puppy Moidart and giving Riska and Shona some retrieves over more challenging ground.
We did a lot of walking too, enjoying the hoar frost and snow which had turned Glen Orchy into a winter wonderland, and even taking the train to the remote Rannoch station where the views of the snowy mountains were breathtaking.
