Last night Riska (FTW Fletchingly Annraidh) gave birth to a strong litter of nine puppies. As always she was in a hurry and completed the whelping process within 2 1/2 hours.
It’s been a weekend of celebrations because Riska’s litter brother Teal (Fletchingly Torrain) won a novice field trial, which was very much a proud breeder moment for me, but of course, this wouldn’t have been possible without the time and hard work put into him by his owner Penny, and the skill of our trainer Graham.
