Riska is now five months old and recently had her first proper lesson. All the basics are sound, including a nice delivery, and I get a real buzz from working with her, as she instinctively knows what I want her to do – she is just like her mother, Shona.
When I was looking for a stud dog, Grey sounded very similar to Shona, and from the glowing reports that I’m getting from the puppy owners, this mating has produced exactly what I was hoping to breed. With this in mind, I am intending to use Stauntonvale’s Mr Grey on Shona again in late 2017/early 2018, and I will keep another pup for myself.
