The puppies eyes started to open on Monday, with both bitch pups being first to have a peep at the big wide world, closely followed by the boys, so there is no stopping them now. They are now a fortnight old and seem slightly more advanced than previous litters, probably because they were born nearer to full term and there are only seven of them to compete for the milk; they already reacting to my greeting of “hello darlings” by peering up at me and they are up and walking, albeit with a bit of a wobble.
I can see subtle differences between them, and I spent the morning taking individual photos of them, which is not an easy task when they don’t stay still for long.
