The puppies now have the run of the kitchen when I’m there to watch them, and it is interesting to see how they react to their new world. They all seem pretty outgoing and confident, running towards odd noises to investigate, which makes them extremely difficult to photograph because the sound of the camera focusing causes a tidal wave of puppies to head in my direction.
They are eating solids really well and Shona is choosing to make her visits few and far between. She is very fit and well and has kept in good condition, so does not look like a bitch that has reared nine puppies.
I have now registered the puppies with the kennel club and their pedigree names are all Scottish sea lochs.
