I don’t seem to have had much time to take photos of the pups this week, partly because they now have solid food three times a day as well as puppy milk three times a day, which means that when I’m spotted, they make a bee-line for me, and partly because they are so playful and enjoy interacting with me. Shona pops in to see them and give them a feed when she feels like it, but now they all have their sharp little puppy teeth through, her visits are getting briefer, although she still likes to keep them nice and clean. Their play is getting quite rough at times, and if Shona thinks it’s getting out of hand, she steps in to sort her rabble out.
My waiting list for this litter started last June, and over the last week I have met most of the new owners, so it has been good to put faces to names at last, and I am 100% satisfied that these pups are all going to the right homes. I am keeping a bitch back for myself, and the rest of the puppies have now been sold, all to good working homes, so I will be very interested to see how they develop as they grow into adult dogs.
